My first ever review here was about FIM Speedway GP 2012 and I remember it being quite negative. I mentioned the controls being limited to simply turning left, there only being one racing line and that if you drifted off of it, you crippled your chances of ever winning that race. Well I’m happy to say that some of these issues have been fixed. Here’s what I think of the overall experience.

DeadGrind is a fitting game for Halloween, with an easy to pick up concept and a surprisingly rocking song for when you get taken out. While it lacks depth, in that it is a simple on-rails shooter with little variation, it is one I’ve found myself starting up on my Android smartphone more often than others because it’s just simple fun time killer with an intuitive method for mowing down the undead.

I’m not meant to be here to gripe about how unloved one of my favorite sports is, so I’ll carry on anyway. Watch it you philistines, Speedway is excellent!
Ok, i’m done, I’ll talk about the game. Something I don’t want to do because this game is not one you should buy which is a shame because I know Vivid Games are competent at what they do. When they released FIM Speedway GP 2011 I bought it right away and I loved it.

Last week was the end of February and like every end of month, we did our iOS pick of the month. My Army even though it didn’t win felt like it deserved some recognition for it did some things really well, just like it also had its flaws.

The Lost City is a gorgeous action adventure game from the truly talented Fire Maple Games! It’s not often an Android game rally pulls me in but this was one of those rare occasions, The Lost City is a game that will keep you glued to your Android phones screen to reveal the puzzles and become immersed in the story.

Run Roo Run is a very simple game – it is your typical left to right game. The music after awhile does become repetitive and sounds just like elevator music. The graphics look like the developer was trying to save some money because for $0.99 I own better graphic quality games. Now please don’t take the small amount of flaws as a sign because you will be missing out on a very fun side scroller.
