Ni No Kuni Beutiful – New Video Game Releases 01/02/2013

Ni No KuniYou have to love this time of year when we have just a few video game release’s, just 3 this week in fact  It gives us gamers chance to catch up on our ever growing backlogs of games we have yet to finish.

A lot of RPG fans and gamers alike have been all excited for a while now in anticipation of a game partly developed by the award winning Studio Ghibli and Level-5. This of course is the long awaited Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch on the PlayStation 3Was the long wait worth it then? Seems so as many are claiming this is one of the best ever PlayStation 3 exclusives, which is saying a lot considering the PlayStation 3 is bestowed with some of this generations best exclusives.

You will notice the rather distinctive Studio Ghibli art style all through this game and wow its stunning, quite possibly one of the best looking games on the PlayStation 3 yet. Reviews have praised everything from its great story all the way through to the RPG gameplay elements. It seems to have been getting 10/10 across the board. If you like RPGs then this is a game you should look at.

Wait a second, haven’t we recently had a new Hitman game? Now we have a HD Collection? Talk about milking the franchise. So Hitman Trilogy HD is out this week on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and it includes the first console outing of the bald assassin in Hitman 2, then we have Hitman Bood Money and Hitman Contracts. Reviews have not been so kind but if you like Hitman its worth a gander at its new lick of HD paint.

Last up we have Omerta: City of Gangsters which is a turn based strategy game on Xbox 360 and PC.  It looks rather cool but not many reviews exist as of yet.

Out Next Week:

  • Dead Space 3 – PS3, 360, PC
  • BioShock Ultimate Rapture Edition – PS3
  • Scribblenauts Unlimited – Wii U
  • Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed: Limited Edition – 3DS
