I Love The Smell Of Burning Rubber… New Releases – 14/10/2011

As the dust settles on FIFA 12, Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 is released on PS3, PS2, PSP, 360, Wii and PC which has been scoring a reasonable 8 on many websites, with some claiming its better than FIFA 12 and big improvements have been made with a better online system.

Namco releases their high flying combat simulation, Ace Combat Assault Horizon on PS3 and Xbox 360. Ace Combat Assault Horizon has received some excellent reviews, and it seems like Namco is onto a winning streak considering Dark Souls was released last week with high praise. If you are on Playstation Network or Xbox Live, I would suggest giving the demo a play through, it should give you a taste of how praiseworthy it is.

I was rather impressed, when Capcom revealed that they would be released Dead Rising 2. this time featuring Frank West the hero of Dead Rising as the main character. A lot of shops are selling Dead Rising 2 Off The Record on PS3 and Xbox 360 for £17.99 which is rather amusing considering Capcoms recent Playstation Network releases of Resident Evil sell for £14.99.

A rather interesting game is being released by Activision this week, Skylander’s Spyro’s Adventures on PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3Ds, Wii and Nintendo DS. A lot of hardcore Spyro fans have sent Activision death threats, if they release Skylander’s Spyro’s Adventures, which did make us laugh. What makes this game extra special though is it comes with action figures and a strange pedestal that you use to scan them into the game.

Big racing game Forza Motorsport 4 is finally out on the Xbox 360, gaining some huge reviews praising its gorgeous visuals and its physics engine, reviewers have said the AI is a letdown but other than that it’s a solid racing game.

Microsoft also releases Kinect Animals Now With Bears, which is the same Kinect Animals that had been released with the Kinect but with extra creatures for you to nurture and love. Deffonetly one for the kids.

Spider Man Edge Of Time is out on everything this week. The console versions have had a pretty average reviews, whilst the Nintendo 3Ds version has had some praise from GameModo readers.

If you like music and dancing like a mad person, you will love Just Dance 3, which has had, some decent write ups, claiming its much of the same but still fun.

If you are a Xfactor fan, then you are also in luck, this is also out on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii.

Work out fans may like Michael Phelps Push The Limit for Kinect on Xbox 360.

Out next week: Batman Arkham City (PS3, 360, PC), Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Impact (PSP), The Adventures of TinTin:The Secret of the Unicorn (PS3, 360, Wii, 3DS), Captain America Super Soldier (3DS), Dance Central 2 (360) and Ratchet and Clank All 4 One (PS3).
